A Great Weekend

This was my first weekend being back in school and I figured that it would be just like last year and I would spend my entire Saturday working and then my entire Sunday running errands. Not my favorite way to spend my weekends last year. However, I got to do a lot of stuff that I wanted to do. I discovered the Farmer's Market and I absolutely loved it. Many of you know that I have had to change my eating habits this summer (if you don't know that it is a long story and I'm happy to tell you, so let's chat). It was so great to have so many fruits and vegetables for dirt cheap or for free since my friend has a booth there. :) I plan on visiting the Farmer's Market every weekend until they aren't having them anymore. Then I got to come home and figure out how to use these fruits and veggies to cook food that I can actually eat, which can be challenging but I found 2 more things I can eat without it bothering me!! I also got to talk to my entire family and catch up with them. So all in all, I am feeling like that I might have some of my life back this year. That makes me happy since I feel like I sacrificed so much of my own personal time last year as a first year teacher. Yea!!!
