Boston

My break is over and it flew by very quickly. I was on the go the entire time, but it was great. It was so hard to go back to my "normal" life because I had such a great break. The first part of my time off I went to visit my aunt in Boston. She invited my mom and I to come visit for the weekend because my dad and his brothers were having a McKenzie boys reunion. So, I flew out on Friday at the beginning of my break. On Saturday we drove up to Ogunquit, ME. It was only about an hour trip from their house in Boston. We walked along the coast and ate lunch at a restaurant that looked out at the ocean. It was beautiful.

The next day we had to take my mom back to the airport very early so Mary & I got off to an early start of sightseeing. We went and saw Harvard and walked around the campus. Then we went to see the battleground at Lexington. Then we spent the rest of the day shopping.

On Monday we went into Boston and spent the day there. We ate at Cheers and then walked around the Boston Common Gardens, Public Gardens, and walked on the Freedom Trail. We went to see the Old South Church and then headed back to their part of town.

On Tuesday we spent some time in North Andover shopping and going to Smallack Farms. Then I left on Wednesday. It was a great trip and am glad I got the chance to go.

Looks like you had a great trip. Jena and I wish we could have been along. Maybe next time.

I love that picture of you in front of the Cheers sign - you look SOOOOOO pretty!!! Not that you don't normally look prety but that one is extra extra pretty!
